I found this very interesting, after researching more on gluten and type 1 diabetes. The loss of beta cells is now being connected to type 1 diabetes. Save your beta cells and avoid type 1 diabetes. Checking for pancreas antibodies early on, and going on a gluten free diet is known to stop the destruction of the beta cells. See link: Poor Beta-cell Function

I am also adding free range organic egg yolks back into my diet/journey to further help my Keto life style. I also understand as Stephanie Person has posted on her Facebook page, "If you are not hormone free, grass fed and certified organic .. You are in big trouble."
I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday.
