Today's dinner, (2) thin slices of turkey breast with avocado and (3) turkey breast skins. In the fall of 1958 a study called (The Seven Countries Study) was formally started, from this moment American's and many around the world would come to believe that cholesterol was harmful and that it was the cause of cardiovascular disease, along with countless deaths. It also would not help as an American scientist by the name of (Ancel Benjamin Keys), would help in force this flawed study. Today as cardiovascular disease continues to shorten the life span of many Americans and many thru-out the world. The most important tool you or I will have on this journey is to continue to keep an open mind. I myself was a believer in this study, and was even afraid to enjoy the fats in my past meals. I had to unlearn this science, and what the (American Heart Association) was telling us, with some daring on my part I started eating eggs, uncured bacon, coconut oil, and fatty meats with full enjoyment. Today their are many factors that can cause cardiovascular disease, which include flour, sugar, grains, inflammation, viruses and even bacterias. The Journey moves forward as I enjoy fats and I work to improve my Paleo/Ketogenic life style. Here is a book I highly recommend called The Great Cholesterol Myth by Jonny Bowden. "The new dietary recommendations of the U.S. government, nutrition experts and medical experts are dead wrong." "Eating fat doesn't make you fat."
